Sir David LaidlawKNOXDied on 14th September 2025, aged 92 years.
Married to Eva (who died in 2016), David was the son of the late J.M. Knox, former Editor of the Annandale Herald & Record and the late C.H.C. Knox.
David was the Member of Parliament for Leek 1970-1983 and for the Staffordshire Moorlands 1983-1997.
He is deeply missed by his step-son Kenneth, his nephews David, Neil and Bruce and friends.
Funeral Service Tuesday 21st October at St Peters Church Alstonefield at 11:00am
Prior to a private cremation.
